The arrival of Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster is a new opportunity to immerse ourselves in those fantasy worlds that marveled us so much years ago. Square Enix’s classics will give us reason to look back on from next month.
Although these versions can be purchased individually both on mobile devices and on Steam, it is in this digital store where we can still get the HD versions of Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI . Now, a message has appeared on the Valve platform tabs for both games, with the same warning.
“This game will be discontinued on July 27, 2021. If you are considering purchasing Final Fantasy VI, we recommend the upcoming remastered pixelated version.”
That is, it will be next July 27 when it will not be possible to buy these two editions. Square Enix has taken this step and urges us to buy the future pixelated version of which the exact release date is not known, only that it will arrive next month. On the other hand, Final Fantasy III and Final Fantasy IV will not be affected, since the Steam versions are about 3D remakes.
The main difference of the six games that we will be able to buy in the future weeks, is the change of models . Kazuko Shibuya, who was primarily responsible for the art redesign, also worked on the original conception of the characters.
Therefore, the days are numbered for the two RPG titles on Steam, which are currently priced at 14.49 euros . For mobile devices no modification has been notified. You can do with both through these links:
- Final Fantasy V for 14.49 euros.
- Final Fantasy VI for 14.49 euros.
