The actor Christoph Maria Herbst has slipped back into his prime role as office disgust and is nagging against vaccination. In the end, all of his arguments are refuted – he changes his mind.
Berlin / Cologne – He’s back: The actor Christoph Maria Herbst (55) slips into his prime role as office disgust Bernd Stromberg and advertises a vaccination against the corona virus.
The spots run on ProSieben, Sky and Comedy Central, among others. The production company Brainpool announced on Tuesday in Cologne.
As was to be expected, the loudmouth Stromberg initially resisted the vaccine, compared vaccine with liver sausage, invented a quote from Albert Einstein or resorted to wild comparisons. Why should he get vaccinated as a precaution? “You can also tear out the parquet floor to see if there is still a carpet underneath.” Each of Stromberg’s objections is refuted by a faded-in statement and an off-voice. In the end, he declares himself ready to be vaccinated in every spot.
On all channels
The six 30-second films penned by “Stromberg creator Ralf Husmann can also be seen on the“ MySpass ”network, for example on YouTube – and on the“ Together against Corona ”social media channels.
“The situation is so serious that we had to bring papa back,” said Husmann. “He’s basically skeptical. When working, with women and also when vaccinating. But if even he can be convinced, we will hopefully convince one or the other too. “
The spots are a contribution to the “Germany rolls up # SleevesHigh” campaign run by the Federal Ministry of Health, the Federal Center for Health Education and the Robert Koch Institute. According to the production company Brainpool, all participants largely waived their fees. There were also no public funds.
Spot
ProSieben Marketing Director David Loy said: “We have a very good and friendly relationship with Bernd Stromberg. Of course we support Bernd with his spots, especially as they complement our own initiative “ProImpfen” wonderfully. “
The series “Stromberg” ran on ProSieben between 2004 and 2012 with a total of 46 episodes. After the series ended, there was another film in 2014 that was crowdfunded. The lead actor Herbst became famous for his office satire based on the British model “The Office”. dpa
