The arrival of a baby is always a reason for joy, and when a change as important as that takes place in our life, we immediately want to share the good news with the people around us and share those moments with them. However, because of the coronavirus, many couples have not been able to live this experience.

The birth of a child is a momentous moment in the life of any woman, which will forever remain in her memory. But for many, this important event has crossed another moment that will go down in history: the quarantine due to the pandemic caused by the coronavirus.

The puerperium or postpartum is an especially sensitive stage for the new mother, in which she experiences numerous physical and emotional changes. There are some uncomfortable truths in this period, but there is one that happens immediately after giving birth that nobody tells you about, or at least nobody told me and I had a really bad time.

Thanks to the many studies and investigations that are carried out, there is currently a lot of data that is known about postpartum depression. For example, we know that it is the number one health complication during and after pregnancy, and therefore, every day we work harder to find the reasons that cause it.
