Taste of Bethesda 2017

At the annual Taste of Bethesda, you can sample food from more than 50 restaurants, enjoy five stages of live entertainment, and visit the kids’ corner for crafts, face painting, and balloons. Downtown Bethesda restaurants prepare large quantities of food and baked goods for the festival. For example, Hard Times Café makes 20 gallons of chili and 200 pounds of French fries; Haagen-Dazs goes through more than 60 gallons of ice cream; Mamma Lucia serves over 800 slices of pizza; and Spring Mill Bread Company serves 1,000 slices of apple pies, brownies, cookies, and breads.

As Downtown Bethesda continues to grow, several new restaurants will debut at Taste of Bethesda this year: Community, George’s Chophouse, Medium Rare and TapaBar. Returning favorites like Georgetown Cupcake, Jaleo, Louisiana Kitchen & Bayou Bar, Mussel Bar, Olazzo, Ruth’s Chris and many more will also be in attendance this year.
