The 2021 Dutch GP of MotoGP will have an audience

That is the agreement reached by the different bodies that participate in the organization of the event, which includes Dorna , the promoter of the championship, as well as the venue.

The maximum influx throughout the weekend will be a fifth of what the Assen facility can accommodate, which, in the last edition of the event, in 2019, brought together a total of 167,500 attendees .

The process of selling the tickets will start this same Friday at noon, exclusively through advance sale –they will not go on sale at the ticket offices of the circuit the weekend of the grand prize–, and each fan will be able to receive up to a limit of four locations.

Regarding the location of the spectators at the Dutch Grand Prix, all of them must maintain the usual meter and a half of social distance, unless they belong to the same family nucleus.

All those present will be divided into bubbles, and each one will have a fixed seat, as well as a parking space for the car. All ‘pelouse’ areas will remain closed.

It is still to be defined how the accesses and the tests to which all attendees will be subjected will be organized, although logic leads us to think that everyone who presents a rapid test with a negative result will be allowed to pass.

Tickets that were sold in 2020 will remain valid for the 2022 edition.

The first of the upcoming events expected to receive fans will be the Catalan Grand Prix, scheduled for the weekend of June 5 and 6, although the exact figure has not yet been defined. For reference, at the last F1 Spanish GP there were a thousand spectators in the grandstand on Sunday, the first day after the end of the State of Alarm .
