When last month I published the video game sales data for the month of September, I already told you that things would change in October. Nor does it take a genius to see this, since the top had some months with more or less logical changes but with a couple of games that were reluctant to abandon their reign and the odd title to come out that it was clear was going to make noise , threatening the untouchable.
Look if the thing that in the top 10 of the best sellers only repeats one title has changed. Only one: ‘Wii Sports Resort’ , which leaves the first position after months of supremacy and drops to sixth position at once. The rest of the positions are mostly occupied by… football games! Yes, the beautiful game in our country continues to sell in video game format, making ‘ PES 2010′ and ‘FIFA10’ share 6 of the 10 top spots. Four EA’s game and two Konami’s, but it was ‘ PES 2010′ that has kicked itself to the top.

First of all, you will be wondering why the next platform does not appear in soccer games. The answer is very simple: the aDeSe website has undergone a profound change both at an aesthetic and organizational level, which makes navigating it much more intuitive now (it was his turn, by the way), but along the way they have forgotten indicate the platform to which each game belongs in the general ranking. Slap on the wrist for aDeSe, since it is a piece of information it is of great importance. Hope they fix it. Presumably, the ‘ PES 2010′ of the first place is that of PS3, for example, but without the figures of each title in hand I have no way of knowing exactly the data. In any case it is clear that both titles have swept.
Another title that we knew was going to appear on this list is ‘Uncharted 2: The Kingdom of Thieves’ , the great game that has been marked again by Naughty Dog. It has even been a position above the ‘Wii Sports Resort’ , which as I mentioned before has dropped from number one to six. It has actually made a nice sandwich to the Nintendo title, as its special edition has come straight into the seventh position.
Finally we find Professor Layton and his new adventure, ‘Professor Layton and Pandora’s Box’ , a title that we knew was going to enter this top. Personally, I thought that it was still a little higher, seeing the success that the previous title had, but it has not been able to with the football fans.
You see, the thing has been moved and has been a rather monotonous general ranking. A prediction: in the general ranking for November, whose data we will know in the middle of next month, I think we will be able to see the entry of a Spanish game. Yes, I’m talking about ‘Invizimals’ on PSP . I hope I am not mistaken, since the Novarama title, of which I have already bought my copy, is very entertaining and gives me that for the little ones in the house it will be a delight.
