The fifth season of 'Working Mothers' is already in production (although we will have to wait a long time to see it)

A few months ago I was talking about the importance of having more movies and series that show motherhood in a realistic way, although little by little we have had options that do, such as the famous ‘The Letdown’ and ‘Working Mothers’.

In the case of the latter, which has been a worldwide success, it has been confirmed that after a long hiatus due to the pandemic, its fifth season is already in production and there is a possible release date .

The success of ‘Workin’ Moms’

‘Workin’ Moms’ (or ‘Working Mothers’ in Spain) follows the life of a group of working women who are mothers , showing in a real way and with a strong touch of humor, the ups and downs of the life of the four working mothers who star in it.

Since its first season, this series was very well received by mothers, who appreciated this raw and sincere vision of motherhood, thanks to its funny and dramatic episodes, with very real problems and situations of life as a mother .

Through the four seasons, we have seen how the protagonists’ babies go from babies to children, while their mothers face new challenges and adjustments in their life with each stage , also addressing life as a couple, touching strong and sensitive topics such as unplanned pregnancies and separations or divorces.

When can we see the fifth season?

A few months ago it was confirmed in the official ‘Workin’ Moms’ account that there would be a fifth season , but it happened just when the confinement in America had begun, so its production had to be put on hold for a few months.

Finally, they have released the news that they are already producing this fifth season , accompanied by a photograph of the two main protagonists wearing a mask (although they have clarified that for now the issue of the coronavirus will not be touched on in history).

As for the date, as the recordings were delayed, naturally the premiere of the fifth season will be late, but according to entertainment media, it is expected that in winter 2021 it can already be enjoyed on Canadian television stations .

If the same model is followed as in the fourth season, we will possibly be able to see it on Netflix between two and three months after its premiere in Canada.

The FOMO effect (Fear Of Missing Out) is defined as "the fear of missing something". And although it is a concept that has become relevant in recent years, it is nothing new. In the late 1990s, Dr. Dan Herman coined this term.

We live surrounded by technology and it is inevitable that this will be incorporated as one more tool in parenting. In addition to apps that help with things ranging from designing your baby's room to managing the calendar of children with separated parents, devices such as tablets, mobile phones or smart speakers are here to stay. Proof of this is the growing use of Alexa as a timer that children obey without question (or at least without protesting as much as their mother).

"You don't understand me": how to help adolescent children to be less dramatic and...

When they enter the stage of adolescence, there are many boys and girls who can become dramatic in situations that, for parents, do not have the same degree of importance. Thus, in day-to-day situations, they feel that the world is ending, or they live everything with great intensity.
