Exactly half a year from now, Dying Light 2: Stay Human, the long-awaited sequel to Techland’s game, will be released. Until then, those with a copy of Dying Light can continue to enjoy new content thanks to the Hellraid expansion that was released last summer and has now received a few updates.
Without a doubt the most important of them is the incorporation of a new story mode called The Prisoner . In it, players will descend into the depths of the temple of Ba’al to save Lucius, a powerful wizard who is held in the bowels of this place, as you can see in the following cinematic trailer on the occasion of the announcement.
During the new missions that can be completed, it will be necessary to face new types of enemies. Luckily, to get out of these dangerous areas, new deadly weapons have also been enabled: the ornate Corrupt Justice bow, to attack from a distance, and the two-handed hammer Bone Crusher, to crush any creature with it.
This new update adds other improvements in passing, among them a remodeled lighting or more sounds to make the atmosphere and the experience more immersive, as well as some changes in the animations, inventory management and other details that you can consult carefully in the notes of the patch.
The update is free for all Dying Light: Hellraid players and will be ideal to build time for December 7, the day that Dying Light 2 will be released for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC along with various collector’s editions.
