The most annoying enemies in Super Mario World

You do not have to be very nostalgic or have many years to know the adventures designed by Nintendo of the brothers Luigi and Mario, who have the mission of rescuing Princess Peach from the clutches of the evil Bowser (great and last boss of the game).

During the 7 mini-worlds in which the Dinosaur Land map is divided (and another more hidden one, whose entrances you must find in some of the levels), the minions of Kamek, Bowser’s right hand, will not make it easy for us, of course. The difficulty levels are increasing, and with it the variety of enemies that we are encountering expands.

Many of the curious creatures that populate Dinosaur Land are adapted to the environment in which they live (forest, cave, water world, air …) and are designed to make life impossible for you. Some are classic Mario antagonists, like Koopa (the turtle) or Goomba (shaped like a walking mushroom) . Other very popular enemies are the Boo Budies , (which, rather than being scary, are incredibly annoying) in each of the ghost houses that you will find (there is at least one in each mini-world).

Super Mario World was born in Japan in 1990 (and the rest of the world, in 1991) to accompany the launch of the SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) portable console. It was produced by Shigeru Miyamoto, its music was composed by Koji Kondo, and its graphics were designed by Shigefumi Hino. Already in 2000, a reissue of Super Mario World was released for the Game Boy Advance , which also included the classic Super Mario Bros from 1983 as a complement (minigame).

The wealth of this Super Mario makes it one of the best video games in history , (according to the mario.fandom.es page) since it laid the foundations for later platform video games with the introduction, for example, of the reward the player, who must explore the same level, several times if necessary, to find secrets, such as hidden exits. In addition, at its launch, although it was made with the same operating system as previous Mario games, it was improved with 16-bit graphics, as well as stereo sound.

Let’s take a look at some of the most annoying enemies in Super Mario World below.
