The moving gesture between Quartararo and Márquez at Le Mans

This weekend the seventh round of the 21 races that make up the 2022 MotoGP calendar was held at Le Mans. During this test, there were many drivers who saw their strategy affected on Sunday due to the conditions on the French asphalt.

However, Fabio Quartararo and Marc Márquez gave a lesson in sportsmanship on the track as they disputed the final seconds of Saturday’s third free practice session. In an attempt to gather information, Marc Márquez followed in the footsteps of the French rider in search of trying to understand how to get the most out of his RC213V in the midst of a very difficult season for both the rider and the Japanese manufacturer.

In response, Fabio Quartararo gave the eighth champion a wheel. This situation resulted in a 4th place for the Spaniard and his direct entry into Q2 of the French track, starring in a gesture of sportsmanship that moved and made the Le Mans stands applaud.

During the weekend, Marc Márquez experienced some problems that prevented him from standing out in free practice. However, the unexpected help of the French driver and his closest rival on the track propelled him towards the cutoff point in the qualifying session.

At the end of the test, the driver from Cervera shook his hand as a sign of thanks and, together, they starred in one of the most emblematic images of the weekend.
