As soon as we follow the gaming components market closely, we will know that, in recent months, it has been experiencing a very crazy time: sky-high prices, lack of stock and other inconveniences, which make assembling a gaming PC by parts is a very complicated task .
However, little by little prices are stabilizing (of the components that are in stock, of course), and we even see interesting offers in components that until recently were impossible to access. Like this Ryzen 5 5600X , which has dropped in price in PcComponentes: now we find it for only 309.49 euros.
This CPU is one of the best value for money these days for gaming use: it equals, and even surpasses in some cases, higher-end processors in some games. Although that does not mean that it does not give a more than satisfactory performance in many other scenarios. Are there better ones? Yes. More expensive? Also. But at this price, which barely exceeds the barrier of 300 euros, few more interesting alternatives occur to us.
This Ryzen 5 5600X has 6 cores and 12 threads running at a base frequency of 3.7 GHz, although it is capable of reaching 4.6 GHz at times when the load requires it. All this with a 7 nm manufacturing , which is one of the aspects where AMD stands out the most compared to Intel.
So few better combinations we can think of for a gaming PC in 2021 than a processor like this plus a NVIDIA RTX 3000 series graphics card. Although acquiring one of the latter, for now, is still quite complicated.
