The spectacular starting grid for the 2022 F1 Miami GP

The expectation was high today to discover the first poleman in the history of the 2022 Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix and that prize went to Charles Leclerc, who wrote his name in the history books after a great hand to hand with his teammate, Carlos Sainz, and a Max Verstappen who failed in his last attempt.

Behind, Sergio Pérez could not get close enough to his rivals and in the race he will start fourth, ahead of Valtteri Bottas, Lewis Hamilton, Pierre Gasly, Lando Norris, Yuki Tsunoda and Lance Stroll, who completed the top ten positions.

* Esteban Ocon was unable to participate in qualifying for the Miami Grand Prix after a spectacular accident that destroyed his car during FP2 on Saturday. Despite not setting any time, he will be able to be part of the starting grid.
