In addition to his main job as a moderator and entertainer, he now also sells his own red wine together with Guido Gottwald and the discount chain Netto. So he earns something on the side after he disclosed his pension in November, as reported by tz.de.

TV viewers were now worried that Günther Jauch would now also give up his long-standing hit show “Who wants to be a millionaire?” – but the moderator will keep it. It remains to be seen whether, like Thomas Gottschalk, he will return to “People, Pictures, Emotions” after several years.

But he is not a big drinker, as he admitted in the Bunte interview. In contrast to his TV colleague: “My friend Günther Jauch is a different person after a bottle of wine. I don’t,” says Gottschalk.
The “Wetten, dass…?” moderator also explained why he would drink alcoholic beverages less often: “But I also drink very moderately because I’m afraid of losing control and then more stupid stuff to talk!”. However, his noble drop is intended more in the lower price segment and is available from Netto.

The comeback of “Wetten, dass…?” in November 2021 was a huge success with dream ratings for ZDF. Now the broadcaster wants to bring the show back to German television. But the entertainer had some doubts.
