Ludwigschorgast – A two-year-old boy ran out of a kindergarten in the Bavarian district of Kulmbach and died in a water catchment basin.
Witnesses had noticed the lifeless boy in the one and a half meter deep pool, the child died a little later in a clinic, the police said. As things stand, the investigators assume that the boy drowned.
According to the police, the two-year-old had been to the kindergarten in the Ludwigschorgast community on Tuesday afternoon, but left in an unnoticed moment. The criminal police are investigating the exact circumstances of the tragic accident, the police said. The boy's family is looked after by pastors. dpa
