Trailer of "The Forever Purge" The end of a saga?

The Purge is the dystopian horror saga that has hit theaters the most recently. They have been 5 films since the first part came out in 2013 and two television series. The tapes are not related to each other other than sharing the criminal universe in which one night a year, any crime is allowed. This event that is used as an excuse for catharsis for citizens is actually a method of population control in which the lower classes, those who cannot protect themselves, are eliminated. The good thing about this universe, like any great saga, is the ability to exploit different situations and characters, playing with the rules of the event. But what if those rules were broken? That is the question that should have been asked to create the last production of the franchise with The Forever Purge, which already has a new trailer.This time the story is located halfway between Texas and Mexico, where a couple who have just escaped he has escaped from a drug cartel in the southern state. But their drug traffickers pursuers will not be the real threat on their way, as they will meet a group of people covering their heads with animals who have decided that this lawless night will last forever. These outlaws not only want to end the couple and the family that join them, but they want to spread a trail of xenophobic blood that ends the races on the United States border.What began as a production of the home invasion genre with Ethan Hawke and Lena Headey in the first installment has been opening more and more towards terror in the open world.From what can be seen in the trailer, The Forever Purge will have much more action and survival than other installments, getting closer to what we can see in Army of the Dead than to the first approach of the franchise. It is still too early to know how this final argument will affect the saga. It will not be very attractive to continue creating films without the rules of a broken universe. Will The Forever Purge represent a turning point or is it just an isolated idea to make a pseudo-western with a Mad Max tinge? At the moment there is no release date in Spain.
