Two sisters give birth to their babies 90 minutes apart and in the same hospital

There is a study that assures that pregnancy is contagious, that when a woman becomes pregnant, the women in her environment are more likely to stay as well, and it is something that we have seen on different occasions, either with women from the same family or who work together.

The most recent case is that of a pair of sisters who, in addition to living their pregnancy together, ended up giving birth to their babies on the same day, only 90 minutes apart and in the same hospital. We tell you their story.

Ashley Carruth and Brittany Schille found out that both were pregnant in April, just as the confinement began in Minnesota, the state where they reside with their respective husbands.

Respecting the restrictions, Ashley and Brittany accompanied each other during the course of their pregnancies, which also had very close probable due dates , something that caused them excitement.

Their only regret was that being pregnant during a pandemic, they could not accompany each other in the delivery due to hospital restrictions. Or so they thought.

On December 14, Brittany was admitted to the hospital for an induction that was already planned, when hours later she heard her sister’s voice coming from the hospital corridor.

It turned out that Ashley had gone into labor that same day, and seeing that they were sisters, the hospital staff managed to assign them adjoining rooms. In the end, they somehow managed to be close to each other for their deliveries .

The first baby to be born was Ashley’s son, who they named Cassius John and is their second baby, while 90 minutes later Zander Paul, Brittany and her husband’s first child, arrived.

The coincidence of the births of these two sisters was something that was experienced with joy in the hospital , since having adjoining rooms, both were attended by the same doctors and health personnel.
