Sergio Pérez experienced moments of allergy during the 2022 Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix on Friday when in the first practice session he presented some sneezes that were captured by the camera on board the category’s television system.
Pérez sneezed several times before his engineer responded with a “Bless you” which can be translated as the colloquial “salud” that is said to a person for education in countries like Spain and Mexico.
Friday’s session was not easy for Pérez , as he failed to place himself in either of the two sessions within the top three.
The end result is not something Pérez pays attention to, especially given the possibility of rain that could present itself on Saturday for qualifying.
“We have been trying. I think it has been a day of trying very different things to definitely feel comfortable with the car,” said Checo Pérez at the end of the session.
“We have understood the day well. So I hope that on Saturday we can show what we have learned, and that it also becomes a high pace, I am quite optimistic,” said the Mexican before sentencing that the Ferrari seem the rival to beat: “They seem very strong.”
