Second time we have returned to Misano this year and the story is completely different from the previous time we were here. Ducati started with Pecco Bagnaia and Jack Miller ahead, but neither of them was able to finish the race after both riders crashed, thus leaving the victory for Marc Márquez, being the second victory in a row.
That also meant that Fabio Quartararo was proclaimed the new MotoGP world champion. In addition, Pol Espargaró finished second and was on the podium for the first time since joining the Repsol Honda Team this year, while Enea Bastianini took third place and repeated the result of the previous race held on this circuit.
