What is the palasitic meteorite?

Palasites are mixed metal and rock meteorites with silicate crystals, such as olivine, on a matrix of iron and nickel.

They come from the planetésimos, bodies of more than 1 kilometer in diameter that were created by the union of rocky spheres during the formation of the solar system, 4,500 million years ago; and that they are precursors of the planets.

Paddles are rare meteorites: only 61 have been found on Earth.
