F1 faces its final part of the season and this Saturday we will experience the classification of the 2022 Singapore GP, an event in which there may already be a champion. The classification of Singapore will be at night, at 9:00 p.m. local time, so it will be at noon in Spain and in the morning in Latin America.
Although it is a track that usually leaves great races, achieving pole position at the Marina Bay circuit could be key to the final result on Sunday, so we will have to closely follow this Saturday’s classification.

Qualifying for the F1 Singapore Grand Prix starts at 9:00 p.m. local time, at 3:00 p.m. in Spain. With these times, Latin America will have to, more or less, wake up at the usual time, since Q1 in Singapore starts at eight in Mexico, at nine in Venezuela and at ten in Argentina.
The Singapore classification, like the rest of F1, will be made up of three rounds in which drivers will be eliminated until reaching the final, where they will play for pole. Q1, at 3:00 p.m. (in Spain) will last 18 minutes, and all the drivers participate in it. At the end of those 18 minutes, the fastest 15 will advance to Q2 and the slowest five will be eliminated and ranked 16th to 20th for Sunday’s grid.
After Q1, Q2 in Singapore will last 15 minutes, and the fastest 15 from Q1 will participate there. The fastest ten of that second round will go to the definitive Q3, where the author of the pole position will be decided and the first ten will be ordered. In Q2 five are eliminated and the 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th positions are already formed.
All this, of course, if there are no sanctions that modify the grid…
Which drivers have ever achieved an F1 pole position in Singapore?
Since its arrival on the Formula 1 calendar in 2008, Singapore has seen six different polemen in 12 editions. Although neither is a favorite for pole this Saturday, Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel have the most at Marina Bay, up to four poles. Fernando Alonso (in 2010) and Charles Leclerc (the last to do so, in 2019) also have a pole in Singapore from the current grid. The other two drivers on pole at Marina Bay are Nico Rosberg and Felipe Massa.
