What time is the F1 race in Australia and how to watch it

The Australian Grand Prix that takes place this weekend comes to an end with the race this Sunday, April 10, at complicated times regardless of the Spanish-speaking country you are in.

After the pole position of Charles Leclerc, who will start just in front of the two Red Bulls of Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez, an exciting race is expected. In addition, it will be necessary to be very aware of the two Spaniards after their devastating bad luck in qualifying: Fernando Alonso will start 10th due to his accident and Carlos Sainz 9th due to the problem with Ferrari.

What time is the Melbourne F1 2022 Australian GP race:

• Day : Sunday April 10, 2022
• Time of the Australian F1 race in Spain : 07:00 (Spanish peninsular time)
• Time of the Australian F1 race in Mexico, Colombia, Panama, Ecuador, Peru: 00:00h
• Time of the Australian F1 race in Venezuela, Bolivia, Chile and Paraguay: 01 : 00h
• Time of the Australian F1 race in Argentina and Uruguay: 02 :00h

This Sunday’s race in Australia is the third round of the 2022 Formula 1 season, and since there are eight hours between the time of that country and that of Spain, and no less than 15 between Melbourne and Mexico, the schedules of this great F1 prize are somewhat strange.

In Spain it will be time to get up early, since the Australian GP race is at 7 in the morning on Sunday (one hour before the qualifying was, because it lasts almost twice as long). In Latin America, for its part, it will be time to sleep later on Saturday night, since the race in Australia is at 00:00 (midnight) in Mexico, Colombia, Panama, Ecuador and Peru, at 1 in the morning in Venezuela, Chile, Bolivia and Paraguay, and at two in the morning in Argentina and Uruguay.

If there are no red flags or major interruptions, the race in Australia is expected to last about an hour and a half, and that the 58 laps that the drivers have to complete will be completed and we will see the checkered flag at Albert Park when in Spain they are at 08:30 a.m., in Mexico at 1:30 a.m., in Venezuela or Chile at 02:30 a.m. and when in Argentina and Uruguay it is already 03:30 a.m.
