The race at Suzuka takes place at an early hour in Spain and at a very late hour (early morning) in Latin America, a situation that was aggravated after the red flag that stopped the test after only two laps for almost two hours.

This weekend is the 36th edition of the Japanese GP, the 32nd held at Suzuka. Nobody has won more times there than Michael Schumacher, who won a total of six, but there are other drivers who have come close to those numbers.

Lewis Hamilton has won the F1 Japanese GP five times (four at Suzuka and once at Fuji), Sebastian Vettel has won four times in Japan (all at Suzuka), while Fernando Alonso has won a Japanese GP at Fuji and another at Suzuka. From the current grid, Valtteri Bottas has also won there. Will Max Verstappen, Sergio Pérez, Carlos Sainz or Charles Leclerc make their debut on the list?
