Will Mark Strong's character return to the Kingsman franchise?

In 2014, the installment of Kingsman: The Secret Service provided a fresh respite from the more conservative action and espionage proposals. Based on the graphic novel of the same name, Matthew Vaughn built a story full of elegance but with flashes of a somewhat rogue black humor. The director came from filming X-Men: First Generation, also bringing a new air to the franchise of Charles Xavier’s mutants. Without loosing his somewhat street tone, inherited from his beginnings with Guy Ritchie, Vaughn was committed to also shooting the action scenes of the film in a spectacular way (see the sequence shot of the church). The cast he chose to play the characters for the role worked like a charm, with Colin Firth, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Caine and the discovery of Taron Egerton as an emerging English actor. In this story there was also a secondary character that the fans keep with special affection, Melín. The inventor who provided the Kingsman agents was played by Mark Strong and he recently wanted to talk about his possible return. Strong was giving an interview on YouTube as a reason to promote his latest participation in the Disney movie, Cruella. Speaking to JoBlo’s account, he asked about the possibility of returning to the Kingsman universe. Recall that his character Merlin was killed in the sequel to the 2017 film, Kingsman: The Golden Circle. But in these spy stories we know that nothing is what it seems. “I would love it because I love making those movies, and I thought that that triumvirate, that collection of mine, Colin (Firth) and Taron (Egerton) was a great joke, you know,” said the actor in the interview. Additionally, Strong mentioned his feelings in the sequel:“I was pretty sad. I think I saw a lot of people also sad when the end of the film came. I think there is a third. Discussed and you know, in that universe anything can happen. ”The villain of Sherlock Holmes was referring to the fact that in the Kingsman universe there has already been a major resurrection. “I mean, Colin was shot in the eye. Come back and it’s fine. So, you know, it’s a fantasy. I don’t rule it out, ”Strong concluded. At the end of this year the prequel The King’s Man is expected to be released: The first mission that recounts the beginnings of the organization but Vaughn confirmed last year that the third chapter should be told. Will a new Merlin appear or will Strong be resurrected in what appears to be the last chapter of the saga?
