Woman wins 32.8 million in the lottery and does not notice it at first

A lottery player from Lower Franconia was a multiple millionaire for several weeks – and had no idea about it. Your investment of 2.40 euros was well worth it.

Munich – A woman from Lower Franconia won around 32.8 million euros in the lottery – and did not notice it at first.

As Lotto Bayern announced on Wednesday, the 45-year-old was the only tipper nationwide to pick six correct numbers with 1, 7, 17, 22, 41 and 49 and with 3 the correct super number in the drawing on June 9th. She only noticed the value of her lottery ticket the next time she placed a tip. "At the thought of having carried almost 33 million euros around in my wallet for several weeks without worrying about it, I still feel dizzy," Lotto Bayern quoted the winner as saying.

In order to play along, the woman invested a stake of only 2.40 euros and chose the numbers “freely from the gut”. The profit of exactly 32,842 219.80 euros is the second highest sum ever at the game "6aus49" in Bavaria, announced Lotto Bayern. The highest profit paid out so far was therefore 33.3 million euros. dpa
