Do they speak? The truth is that squirrels communicate through complex systems of high-frequency squeaks and tail movements. Studies have also found that they are able to observe and learn from each other, especially when it comes to stealing food.
You know they have their own day?
It's January 21st. Squirrel Appreciation Day is celebrated, considered the favorite animal of many (for others, a plague) and where such a precious creature is honored and oriented to learn something new about the species, of which there are more than 200 in the world.
The introduction of Squirrel Day is due to conservationist Christy Hargrove of Asheville, North Carolina (USA), who created the day in 2001.
