Hugo , however, is only the most popular in two communities: Castilla-La Mancha and Murcia. However, being among the first positions in the vast majority of communities makes it the most popular name among the total of children born last year.

In Ceuta, Mohamed and Yasmin are the most frequent names, while in Melilla they are Adam and Amira . In the Basque Country, Markel and Ane take the throne, while Marc is the favorite for boys in the Balearic Islands and Barcelona, and María the favorite of girls in Andalusia.
