There are 3 places to eat at Tate Modern, but the best views are from the 9th floor restaurant and bar. The restaurant becomes more popular in the evenings, so book in advance and let them know if you want a table by the window to see St. Paul’s Cathedral. The menu is a la carte and the staff are very helpful.
If you just want a drink (and see the view!), There is a bar for alcoholic and soft drinks, plus they also serve tea and coffee. (Note that there is also an outdoor terrace on the fourth floor, which is a great place to take photos of St. Paul’s Cathedral.)
