Dutch royal couple visits Berlin

The German capital is always worth a visit. This is what King Willem-Alexander and his wife Máxima think.

Berlin – The Dutch royal couple are coming to Berlin for three days next week. During their state visit from July 5th to 7th, Willem-Alexander and Máxima will also have several appointments with the Governing Mayor Michael Müller (SPD), as the Berlin Senate Chancellery announced on Monday.

This includes a visit to the Brandenburg Gate on July 5th. The royal couple then signed the city's Golden Book in the Berlin City Hall. On July 7th, Müller accompanies the Dutch guests to the Technical University, where they want to find out more about key technologies, as well as to the Herzberge Landscape Park in Lichtenberg and the Humboldt Forum in Mitte.

As usual with state visits, political discussions at the highest level are also on the program of the royal couple in Berlin. Willem-Alexander and Máxima last stayed in the region a good two years ago. At that time they visited several places in Brandenburg, including Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam. dpa
