The arrival of the Kingdom Hearts franchise on PC marked the end of an unusual event: it was the only platform on which a title from the saga could not be officially played. That ended in March, nearly 20 years after the first game was released.
How can it be otherwise, the community of modders have found a real candy among so many works. For example, we can already enjoy a prototype of the Chain of Memories battles in Kingdom Hearts 3, for fans of card combat.
However, if there is something that all the followers of Kingdom Hearts 2 yearn for, it is the legendary dubbing into Spanish of PS2 . None of the compilations included Sora with the voice of Ash Ketchum and it was something that hurt us. However, this can already be remedied thanks to the work of Svenchu.
Through NexusMods we can find his mod for the second installment created by Tetsuya Nomura with a huge amount of scenes with the Castilian dubbing . Not all of them are there, but the work done is frankly commendable.
Obviously we will play the Final Mix version, so all sections of this extension of the original game are in English. Voices in combat or during Gumi Missions are also not implemented, although Svenchu will update the mod in the future when he achieves that new step.
