Sony is taking the second half of 2017 very seriously when it comes to playable propositions for PS Plus subscribers, but the titles included in the August selection have a lot of hook, in the literal sense.
From the outset, ‘Just Cause 3’ and ‘Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry’ will be the top two proposals on PS4 -and the August selection- and that is because Rico Rodriguez’s latest mischief is little joke. In addition, PS3 and Vita users will see their catalog of independent games reinforced with titles that may not be as well known, although they propose a new twist to four classic game styles.

the third installment in the ‘Just Cause’ saga is a festival of explosions and adventures in a huge open world. Overthrowing an evil military regime will be the perfect excuse to unleash the skills of Rico Rodriguez, a special agent very familiar with the concept of destruction.
Complete the proposal on PS4 ‘Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry’, an expansion for ‘Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag’ that can be played independently and that will allow us to control Adéwalé, maintaining the navigation and sword fighting mechanics of the fourth installment while we execute Assassin-style French slave traders.

PS Vita and PS3 games
The consignment of games on PS3 and Vita is completed with four varied indie proposals, although this month we will not receive any title with cross-buy options : On PS3 we find ‘ Super Motherload ‘, an adventure for up to four players with mechanics that will remind the classic Dig-Dug though offering a deep gameplay; and a curious and colorful variant of the classic ‘Snake’ entitled ‘ Snakeball ‘.
- Super Motherload (PS3)
- Snakeball (PS3)
Users of Sony’s laptop will be able to download ‘Downwell’ , a platform that we will travel vertically and downwards developed by Devolver Digital; and ‘Level 22’ which is presented as an infiltration game set in an office where we will have to join our job without anyone knowing.
- Downwell (PS Vita)
- Level 22 (PS Vita)
After a great July ‘Until Dawn’ and ‘Game of Thrones: A Telltale Series’, the selection of Plus games is serving to accumulate a very interesting game proposal in the current Sony desktop. Hopefully it continues in the same vein for the remainder of the year … and generation.
