Long before Square Enix released the first videos of ‘Final Fantasy XIII’ , when it did not even occur to us that the game would appear on Xbox 360, its developers were already working on it on PS2 .
Whether it was done for not yet having the PS3 development kits or for ease in creating a solid base for the game has not been revealed, but what we can know today are the first images of the aspect that I had ‘Final Fantasy XIII’ on PS2 .
No, it is not that its creators thought of changing the graphic appearance of a ‘Final Fantasy’, and they did not intend to revive old characters to appear in ‘Final Fantasy XIII ‘. They simply used those models to work on the concept of the game and the battle system that we will find in just over a month.
It’s funny how much a title can change. I was especially surprised by the image in which we can see a part of the game’s storyboard and next to it a very early version of the corresponding video. A video that we all still have in our heads and has spectacular graphics.
