The Audi Q2 is updated after four years in the segment of the B-SUV, the most compact and urban. Its launch definitively demonstrated that the SUV trend was here to stay and take over the market. The fondness for this type of model, with a high driving position and a jacket aesthetic, has conquered our cities and the doors of all schools. Far are the first models with off-road capabilities, all-wheel drive and family roominess. The Audi Q2 came to meet very different expectations and mark the way forward for other brands such as Seat, with its Arona, or DS with the DS 3 Crossback.
Changes to the 2020 Audi Q2 affect its exterior design, with new headlights and a flatter grille. As a result, the new Q2 is a few millimeters longer, up to 4.21 meters, while maintaining the dimensions of width and height (1.79 m by 1.54 m). As with the previous model, the drag coefficient of 0.31 Cx is one of the best in the segment. Its habitability remains the same and we have the same 405 liters of trunk capacity. Audi takes advantage of this update to include new body tones and customization elements for the lower section, as we can see in the launch images.
As for the interior, the signature of the four rings maintains the same minimalist and technological distribution. As in the rest of the Audi portfolio, the new Q2 structures the infotainment system on several levels . As standard it maintains the analog instrumentation but we can opt, in top-of-the-range versions, for the Audi virtual cockpit and 8.3-inch central screen. System that has new features in its Audi connect emergency call & service service and Audi connect remote & control. The power supply remains the same but, on the occasion of the launch, Audi has prepared a special edition called Q2 Genuine, limited to 400 units and which mounts the 1.5 TFSI 150 hp block with manual or automatic S tronic transmission.
