A woman gives birth to triplets after having twins in her second pregnancy and a baby in her first

Update: Unfortunately it has been reported that Camila, the mother, passed away two days after delivery. The hospital reported that the delivery had gone well, but she suffered a hemorrhage after the cesarean section and, although she was operated on again and admitted to the ICU, she could not survive. Really very sad news, since at only 32 years old, she leaves her seven young children orphans.

On January 26, a woman gave birth to triplets in Brazil, conceived naturally. The curious thing about the case is that it seems that Camila Cassimiro da Conceição, as this mother is called, exceeds herself in each pregnancy: in her first and second gestation she had a baby, later twins and triplets in the last , so she has formed a very large family.

Vitória, Breno and Valentina were born by cesarean section in Itajaí, and did not need to be admitted to the neonatal ICU, something common in cases of triplet deliveries. Although they have not yet been discharged, they are doing well.

It is a special and so rare case that the Hospital Maternidade Marieta Konder Bornhausen, where the three babies were born, shared the news on its Facebook account along with photos of the happy delivery.

“A special Tuesday! Today we witnessed the delivery of another trigemellar gestation performed in our Institution! The babies were born completely healthy in a cesarean delivery performed in our Obstetric Center.

The birth of a child is a gift blessed by God and in this case they are three gifts that come at once in the life of this family. We congratulate the parents on the birth of their three children! “
