Do you want to work, travel and play in Australia?
Australian Working Holiday Maker visa application process here
According to the site, “The Working Holiday Program provides opportunities for 18-30 year olds to vacation in Australia and supplement their travel funds through incidental employment.”
The Australian Backpacker Work Visa allows you to stay in Australia for up to one year; you can leave Australia and come back during that time. The visa is intended to allow you to travel around Australia, see the sights and enjoy the country while making a few bucks to keep you going, not to embark on serious work. The logic seems to be that a serious job would keep you in one place, and the government wants you to enjoy traveling the country. It’s also difficult to get a job in professional-level jobs that require expert experience.
To that end, you can do informal work (farm work, or working on what’s called the Harvest Trail, it’s by far the most popular with students) for a single employer for up to six months, and then you must move on to another employer.
