One more year the British Academy of Film And Television Arts , which in Spanish would be the British Academy of Film and Television and which is also known by the acronym BAFTA , is preparing to hold the now usual awards ceremony for the best video games that have appeared during the previous year.
Although some of us are not especially fans of this whole shebang that one and the other set up to award prizes, no matter how cool it is to receive one, we are going to continue with the custom of keeping an eye on the nominees and, when the time comes, to the winners. That will be from next March 19, the day chosen to celebrate the awards ceremony at the London Hilton , located in Park Lane.
The three titles that have received the most nominations, as you will see below, are ‘Uncharted 2: The Kingdom of Thieves’ (9), ‘Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2’ (8) and ‘Batman: Arkham Asylum’ (7) , although ‘Assassin’s Creed II’ follows closely with 6 nominations.
