Barbara Wussow becomes the new ambassador for the sea rescuers

Reinhard Mey was the first celebrity to become an ambassador for the sea rescuers. Barbara Wussow is now taking over the honorary position.

Bremen – From the “dream ship” to the sea rescuers: The Austrian actress Barbara Wussow (60) will be the new ambassador of the German Society for Rescue of Shipwrecked People (DGzRS) in 2022.

She follows cartoonist Wolf-Rüdiger Marunde, as the sea rescuers in Bremen announced. "I have the greatest respect for the sea rescuers who bravely and selflessly stand up for others in any weather," said Wussow.
