'Belgravia', the new series from the creator of 'Downton Abbey', will arrive on May 7 at Movistar +

The period series are becoming a phenomenon since the premiere of The Bridgertons. That is why it is good news that on May 7th, the Belgravia series from the creator of the mythical British fiction Downton Abbey Julian Fellowes arrived at Movistar +. The six-episode series is based on the novel of the same name by Julian Fellowes himself. This novel tells how scandal, bewilderment and intrigue reign behind the doors of the great mansions of Victorian London, very close to Buckingham Palace. Belgravia – A Promising Period Series Belgravia begins in quite a historical event – on the eve of the Battle of Warterloo. Charlotte Lennox, the Duchess of Richmond, organizes a ball in honor of the Duke of Wellington attended by the most prominent figures of the European aristocracy. The objective of the dance is to raise the morale of the guests before the advances of Napoleon’s troops. The Trenchards, a lower-class family but now rubbing shoulders with the best of society, accept the invitation to attend the party in Brussels.The series counts as time after that night the events of that fateful night are still remembered of June 15, 1815 in the most chic district of London: Belgravia.
