+++ 9.41 p.m.: The dead man who was discovered on Alexanderplatz in Berlin was found on the area between stairs and water features, said a police spokesman in the morning. His injuries indicated a homicide. The corpse is therefore to be autopsied.
The homicide squad is already investigating, and the forensic investigation was also on site at the locked location. The police spokesman did not want to say anything about the identity of the man or the type of injuries due to the ongoing investigation. However, a suspect was arrested that evening. There is an urgent suspicion, the police spokesman told the German Press Agency (dpa).
