Built in a former Copenhagen factory, BRUS is the result of a collaboration between To Øl (a traveling brewery) and Mikropolis, culminating in the creation of a playground of great food, beers and fun. Specializing in micro beer and soft drinks, the brewery ferments up to 13 different mixes at a time and aims to create a new kind of experience for beer enthusiasts. With beer made with unconventional herbs and ingredients like yuzu, you’re sure to find something you can’t find anywhere else.

Although brewery tours and special tastings only take place once a month, the bar and restaurant are open every day; just don’t forget to buy some beers from the shop next door.

Founded in 1880, Tuborg is one of the oldest breweries in Copenhagen. After merging with Carlsberg in 1970, together they are one of the world’s leading beer exporters.

If you happen to be in town on the first Friday in November, you’re in luck! Tuborg’s annual Christmas beer launch, Julebryg, is celebrated that weekend as a celebration throughout Denmark. Representatives of the brand drive in their official Tuborg trucks visiting bars and cafes while singing the traditional Tuborg Christmas song.
