Best Burgers in DFW

DFW serves some of the juiciest burgers in the world. My favorite burger right now is the western burger at Twisted Root. It was amazingly delicious. When I have another cheat day, I will definitely head to one of the best burgers in DFW. Beef – it’s what’s for dinner!

Twisted Root Burger Co.

I just tried Twisted Root Burger Co in Plano and oh my gosh it was fantastic! I loved the fun bumperstickers / decorations. I loved the references to Chuck Norris. I really loved the pickle bar. I wasn’t a fan of bread and butter pickles previously, but his were so amazing I jumped on the bandwagon. My husband and I sampled all of the pickles and came back for more before our burgers arrived. I ordered the Western Specialty Burger (1/2 lb. burger with pepper, bacon, jalapeno peppers, and fried onion straws) served with fries that were real potatoes 5 minutes ago. The husband tried the blue cheese and jalapeño burger made from buffalo meat.

JG’s Old Fashioned Burgers

Some clients put me in contact with this place. The last time I ate there I seriously expected Guy Fieri and a camera crew to walk any minute. It is a great little place with the restaurant atmosphere. The burgers are just like the ones I had when I was growing up. They only use fresh ingredients like Idaho potatoes and certified Angus beef. JG’s hand dips his own shakes. Tasty. I love the black and white checkered tablecloths. It is perfect for families with young children: informal and cozy. An outdoor patio table too. It is very good to eat and the price is also correct.

The commissioner

To update:

He had heard about this place for a long time before he could finally get a glimpse of it. I love the location in the Dallas Arts District. The patio is fantastic. I had lunch with a friend on a perfect sunny afternoon.

I absolutely had to try the Dallas burger. It was a 7 oz. Beef patty with roasted poblano peppers, pepper jack cheese, BBQ sauce, lettuce / tomato on a sesame seed bun. Yummers loved the mix of peppers, cheese, and barbecue sauce. It is now my favorite burger in DFW. The fries were out of this world. For only $ 9, it was quite reasonable. Next on my to-do list: the Big Tex Burger (chipotle mayo, chili sauce, and jalapeno peppers). I can not wait!

Keller Drive-In

Why introduce kids to a fast food restaurant with a smiley meal of sub-par food? Can’t beat Keller’s drive-in. It’s a part of character, a part of nostalgia, and a great deal of deliciousness. Burgers are served fast (but not the taste like fast food) and it is possible to see some very interesting classic cars while you are there. Cold ice cold beer is served, and you can even take a 6-pack to go when you leave.

Here’s a bucket list item – it ‘s a casual, kid-friendly burger joint that everyone in DFW needs to experience. It is worth the drive.

5 guys burgers and fries

It’s that simple: burgers, fries, dogs. You know they make French fries well because the store sold 127,042,520 pounds of potatoes in 2010. Wow! That’s a lot of potatoes.

Five Guys have been rated by ZAGAT since 2001, so they know how to produce hot, juicy, and delicious burgers.

In a hurry? Skip the line and order from your computer or smartphone! You will definitely go in and out here.

Very good news: they just put up a location inside the Laguardia airport in New York! I tried a hamburger recently. It’s still delicious, even at an airport!

Love hut

Chef Tim Love rocks! He won the Food Network’s Iron Chef contests against one of the best chefs in the world (while sipping tequila and wearing his cowboy hat). He’s a chefs rock star, and makes him a cowboy chef in a cowboy hat. He’s been at the helm of Fort Worth’s famous Lonesone Dove restaurant, where you can buy rabbit and rattlesnake sausages, lamb sliders, and chili. Won the Iron Chef contest. It will beat you in its restaurants. Okay, let’s get back to the burgers. The world needs more Love Shack. Just try one and you’ll name him the Iron Chef of burgers. PS: Get the one with the quail egg on top!

Snuffer’s Restaurant & Bar

In the late 1980s, my best friend and I were at Snuffer’s on Greenville Avenue, somewhere in the neighborhood at 2 a.m. In front of us were Edie Brickell and New Bohemians. Cindi and I bought Edie’s burger and cheddar fries. She came to thank us and I asked her for an autograph. She signed her name and drew. From an alien. How cool is that? The burgers are huge. Cheddar fries are legendary. All I can say is eat one today and create your own delicious keepsake.

My In-N-Out Burger Review

In-N-Out has the biggest burger buzz in America. What is it about this place that made people queue (or sit in the drive-thru) for hours when it first opened in DFW? Magical? Perhaps.
