Cyberpunk 2077: here are the first details with the improvements of patch 1.2 scheduled for this month

CD Projekt RED has released the details of Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.2. A patch that should have come out last February but which, according to the statement released by the company at the time, was delayed in its release due to the cyberattack that suffered at the beginning of that month.

If all goes well, this update should arrive during the second half of the current month, although the study has not yet given a date. What it has done is publish a new entry on its website where we can read some of the improvements that will come to the game with patch 1.2 .

Each of these novelties is accompanied by a small video to be able to see it in motion, such as the one that fixes the strange behavior of the police. In these moments, when the player carries out some kind of violent act, the bofia appears instantly behind the character as if by magic. With Patch 1.2, it will take a while for law enforcement officers to reach the crime scene, which is much more logical. “We have also added a reconnaissance drone to create the feeling that the police are assessing the situation,” the company says.

There are also going to be improvements in the vehicle’s driving and control system in order to offer a more fluid experience, as well as new options in the configuration to be able to adjust the level of sensitivity when driving. Currently, the main complaints in relation to this issue have to do with the speed when turning the steering wheel, which is too fast and results in poor vehicle control.

On the other hand, a new system is introduced to prevent the player from getting stuck with the car somewhere that he cannot get out of, being forced to leave the vehicle abandoned. With this new system you can easily gain traction to get out of the quagmire.

The latest improvement they have released for now is the ability to disable the dodge of a movement key, since it seems to be having unintended consequences too many times. In any case, this function will remain active when you press the Crouch key twice.

As we said at the beginning, Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.2 is scheduled to arrive this month, although for now there is no confirmed date.
