DS Automobiles launched the DS 4 on the market at the end of last year, a model whose CEO expects that this 2022 will account for 50% of sales. Built on the same EMP2 platform as the Peugeot 308, or the recently launched Citroën C5 X, its unique and daring design has come to conquer the most exquisite and exclusive public. And it has succeeded, even in its special versions. In reality, DS had it easy to create a vehicle that was beautiful at first sight, it only had to transfer the work done in models such as the DS 3 Crossback or DS 7 Crossback. Both brothers share that avant-garde image, full of edges, which is accompanied by a significant amount of technology.
Now it presents the luxurious and elegant Cross Rivoli version, which has taken the Rue de Rivoli in Paris as a clear example. Its big-brand boutiques, its luxury hotels and restaurants and its prestigious neighbours, such as the Louvre Museum, the Tuileries Garden or the Place de la Concorde, draw as much attention as the many details of the range. Among them stands out its level of finish , the technological equipment, as well as the pleasure of driving . And this compact is just as comfortable cruising downtown city streets as it is tackling unpaved terrain. The latter notably helps its Advanced Traction Control system, an intelligent device that allows adapting the drive of the front wheels depending on the surface on which it is and its grip. And although it may seem to us that the DS brand, and more so this elegant model, is not to enter a country setting, its finishes and details do not say the same. In fact, there are details such as the gloss black roof bars, the Cross logos on the doors, the 19-inch wheels or the bumpers, which give it an SUV appearance.
