Magic Alonso is back. The Asturian driver brought out his magic in the highlight of the Azerbaijan GP after Max Verstappen's accident. Fernando was clear that it was time to do his tricks since it was a one-lap race. He had to make the most of the Alpine and he did. He started tenth and was seventh at the start, emulating Alonso of the best times.
In these images aboard the Alpine, you can see how the two-time F1 world champion beats up to three rivals at one stroke at the start. Fernando Alonso reaches the first corner close to Tsunoda and shortly after opens to pass him on the outside and win the inside in the next corner. From there he endured the attacks of the Japanese giving a real driving lesson to cross the finish line in sixth position.
