We don’t know the world we live in. The West lives in a kind of bubble in which, with more or less money, we can obtain a series of material goods that seem very normal but that in other parts of the world are not. Just look at today’s news, Sony Computer Entertainment has just officially launched the PlayStation family in Vietnam.
Yes, yes, the same Vietnam from the Napalm rain that the North Americans caused shortly before leaving for legs. There and due to the fact that the economy has been regenerating at full speed for a few years, Sony has considered that the country is ready to take on the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and PSP. It may be that the simple fact of going to buy a console in the large area of the corner go, from being a dream, to being a reality. The only thing missing is that the economy of the Vietnamese citizens can afford it … but something tells me that it will be difficult.
PlayStation 3 has been put on sale for about 9,990,000 Vietnamese dong , which is about 380 euros at the change, PlayStation 2 goes down to 4,490,000 dong , 170 euros more or less, and PSP reaches the figure of 5,900 .000 dongs , about 230 euros approximately. It is the eighth Asian country, not counting Japan of course, that receives Sony consoles officially. A fact that, placing us in 2010 and 4 years after PS3 came out and about 10 years since the launch of the almighty PS2, tells us about the insane situation that the inhabitants of those countries are experiencing.
In any case, we can only rejoice. Good morning Vietnam, we hope to see some of you on the PSNetwork.
