Jazz en el parque – Little Rock Riverfront Park

What:

The Jazz in the Park series is a free weekly concert series that will take place every Wednesday night in April and September from 6:00 to 8:00 at the History Pavilion in Riverfront Park.

Coolers are not allowed, but beer and wine are available for sale. A portion of the beer and wine proceeds will benefit Sculpture at the River Market.

Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome and seating will also be available in the amphitheater.

Jazz in the Park is partnering with Art Porter Music Education again this year. Art Porter Music Education, Inc. (APME) continues its mission to keep alive the musical legacies of local jazz statesman Art Porter, Sr. and his son, renowned saxophonist Art Porter, Jr. with opportunities for community enrichment, volunteering, and the scholarship award Through Music, APME works to improve education by helping students improve reading, language, and math skills.

Where:

Concerts are at the History Pavilion in Riverfront Park. The history pavilion at Riverfront Park is just west of the first security amphitheater. The closest point of entry is on Ottenheimer Dr., on President Clinton Avenue.
