Junkers Bosch, carbon neutral since 2020

A home is that strange and special place where we always feel safe . Where we meet and star in the scenes and interludes of our life (with more or less public). For millions of species, including humans, our home is the Earth and it is our responsibility to care for and preserve it. Every gesture counts and every help adds up, and that is why a large part of society and more and more companies are joining this commitment so that we can all enjoy a healthy planet. This is the case of Junkers Bosch, which in 2020 has reduced the carbon footprint of its locations to zero and is working to launch new boilers and air / water heat pumps that are more efficient and respectful of the environment.

Leaving a footprint (but not a carbon one)

The carbon footprint is the set of emissions generated by an individual , an organization or a product. These emissions are common and occur almost with anything we do in our day to day, but they should not be lost sight of. There are many ways to reduce your carbon footprint and incorporating some of them becomes a truly useful and even necessary tool.

With this in mind, Junkers Bosch has been reducing its carbon footprint to make its 400 locations around the world carbon neutral. This objective has been achieved thanks to the implementation of a series of improvements and changes in its facilities that have led to a progressive reduction in emitted pollution until neutrality is reached. Among the measures taken by Junkers Bosch are the use of machinery and facilities with greater energy efficiency , the implementation of new innovative technologies and the modernization of their locations with new forms of energy saving (air compressors, filtration systems, lighting LED). To all this must be added the use of green energy such as solar (through photovoltaic panels), hydrographic (taking advantage of the movement of water in dams) and wind (with modern mills).

To complete this transformation and seal this commitment, Junkers Bosch takes on the offsetting of the carbon that they cannot avoid emitting. It is about promoting projects that help conserve and protect the environment and reduce emissions in other areas to equalize the amount of carbon that cannot be reduced to the same extent.

Efficiency, performance and comfort

But the idea of change and commitment assumed by Junkers Bosch is not exclusive to its facilities, but also to its products.

Its range of wall-mounted condensing boilers Cerapur offers a combination, almost a symbiosis, between maximum efficiency and performance in the minimum space and its innovative technology allows it to achieve an A + energy rating . On the other hand, the Supraeco Hydro & Frigo range works without CO 2 emissions and favors energy savings, while protecting the environment. They have two units, one outside and one inside, which work together to extract energy from the outside air and thus cover, in a fluid and natural way, the comfort needs of the house. Its energy rating becomes A +++ .

Choosing Junkers is choosing to take care of the environment. Also, get up to € 250 for your purchase until December 31, 2020

1 boiler = 1 tree

As part of this carbon offset and being one more way of adding to the care of the natural environment , Junkers Bosch collaborates with Land Life Company to plant a tree in a deforested area of Spain for each condensing boiler that is installed . Planting new trees is a very effective way to remove CO 2 from the air as evidenced by data provided by Land Life Company, a reforestation company that uses technology to plant trees on a large scale and in a sustainable way that has planted 1,287,479 of trees and has removed 239,845 tons of CO 2 from the air.
