The Peoria Center for the Performing Arts was completed in 2007. It is a joint venture with the City of Peoria and Theater Works, which is the primary tenant and operates the facility. It is a popular venue for community theater, both on the main stage and in youth productions, in the West Valley.
The Peoria Center for the Performing Arts consists of the Mary Jane Gyder Main Stage Theater (280 seats), the McMillin Black Box Theater (80 seats), as well as other space for meetings, classes and events. If you have children who are interested in the performing arts, Theater Works hosts several summer camps on site each year.
