Razputin Aquato will have to hone his psychic powers in Psychonauts 2, Doublefine's work that will arrive in August [E3 2021]

Years waiting for him. A long time thinking about whether it was going to be a reality or would finally be discarded from our dreams. Psychonauts 2 is the sequel to Doublefine Productions’ cult play, and thanks to Microsoft’s purchase of the studio, momentum for the project has been enormous.

That is why we finally have the release date before us. It will be from August 25 when Tim Schafer’s work debuts on Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Here is the new gameplay that has been shared.

The formula is clear: humor in abundance and unexpected psychedelic worlds. We will take control of Razputin Aquato , a trained acrobat with really powerful psychic powers. His intention and goal in life is to join the international spy organization Psychonauts.

We will have to resurrect Maligula , a villain also with psychic powers, to help us restore stability to the group of spies. Obviously, Psychonauts 2 will also make its debut from day one on Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft’s subscription service.
