Tips for visiting the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show
- Plan your visit from central London using the information in How to get to Hampton Court Palace.
- If you have a lot of stamina, you can visit Hampton Court Palace on the same day, but allow plenty of time as it takes 3-5 hours to visit the flower show and 1-3 hours to visit the palace.
- Remember that this is a temporary outdoor event in an open park and is subject to different weather and land conditions. A temporary walkway is set up, but it can still get quite muddy if there has been heavy rain.
- Wear appropriate clothing for an outdoor event. Open-toed shoes and high heels are usually not appropriate footwear.
- Bench and cloakroom facilities are available within the fairgrounds. Check the information panels in the program for locations.
- Left luggage service and pharmacy service are available at the show site.
- The RHS Advisory Service offers free gardening tips to show visitors. Check the information panels in the program for locations.
- Free music: there are two bandstands in the showground; one is located near the King’s Food Court and the other is on the north side of Long Water.
- Plant and Product Nursery : There is a Plant and Product Nursery service available where you can leave your purchases while you enjoy the rest of your day.
- Plant Porters : Plant Porters operate within the display area to help visitors carry their purchases. They cover all areas of the exhibition area, Stud Car Park and even the Thames (formally Rose) entrance to the train station. They are easily recognizable by their green aprons and wheelbarrows.
