Scottsdale Spice

September 2015 marks the date for Scottsdale Spice’s second culinary event. Participating chefs will create their culinary masterpieces on three heat levels: mild, medium, and hot. Festival goers will cast votes for their favorites in each category, including booth décor, hottest dish, best dessert, and most authentically Arizonans.

This is one of the many culinary events that take place in Phoenix / Scottsdale throughout the year.

When is the Scottsdale Spice culinary event?

It is not yet scheduled for 2015. When the dates are announced, I will post the information here.

Where is?

Scottsdale Headquarters, 7117 E. Third Avenue in Scottsdale.

How do I get tickets and how much do they cost?

General admission is $ TBA per person (plus online service fee). That includes:

  • Unlimited food samples from participating restaurants (while supplies last)
  • seven good drink tickets for wine, craft beer and spirits. Each ticket is good for a drink sample.
  • a souvenir glass

Tickets can be purchased online or at the door, subject to availability.

What else do I need to know?

Only those over 21 years old admitted.

This event takes place indoors.

Each participating chef will display their dishes on four heat levels: mild, medium, hot, and nuclear. Each participating chef will present a dish for the World Chef Challenge competition. That dish will be rated by a celebrity media panel, chef, and judges. Customers who attend the event will be able to vote for their favorite dish. The winning chef will receive a “Golden Ticket” and advance to the next round of competition at the World Chef Challenge in Florida.
